Don’t you just hate it when your parents show up at your job? But we finally get to see the first of the I.T. parents since I first sketched them out like two years ago. Sonya, if you couldn’t tell before this – is in fact mixed. Black and White just like Lily. Her father was Jamaican and she was born in Jamaica which is why she still has the accent but her mother doesn’t.
Funny story about my choice in their drastically different color – my mother is actually from Jamaica and she’s darker than me. In fact a lot of people don’t realize we’re related at all because we look so different. I look like my father (who is very pale, with straight hair and a narrow nose). In fact the only thing I get from my mother (besides certain personality traits) is my hair. We have the same color hair… go fig.
