Went back 10 years and dug this out of the external drive. I give you the very first page of “Kiddo” the comic that Lily and Emil are originally from. You’ll notice that Emil is no longer an anorexic cat boy – I was coming off of my anime phase ^^;
The comic was so analog back then – partially because I didn’t even know what Photoshop was until 2005, didn’t learn how to use it until 2007. A lot has changed but the basic story is still there – Emil protecting Kiddo from some creepy old dude that wants to use her.
