Strange Relationship

These two – I swear. Their relationship is unique to say the least. They’re not as grossly romantic as Sonya and Darkly. But man do they love each other. Emil has never met a woman as intense as Lily. She loves to shoot. And she loves to train. There isn’t really anyone who can keep up with Emil until Lily comes along and they bond over her desire for revenge. And then once she’s gotta that revenge they just keep it up because why not. I’m glad I get to show their aspect of the relationship in the comic. Issue #3 shows him really teaching her and by Issue #5 they are go from being ‘frienemies’ to ‘sweet on each other’. Blink and you’ll miss it but the development is there… and then there’s what happened at the end of issue #6.

Anyway just a little something of these two that’s less cuddly. Nothing says ‘LOVE’ like kickboxing with your OTL without padding

If I Was Your Girlfriend

Good Lord I’ve been trying to finish this for a month. I sketched this out a while back and it kept getting pushed back by the comic. I first sketched Zen by herself wearing those pants back in January I think. And I spotted the perfect heels for Del just earlier today so got it done finally.

I always love the fact the tiny little Del is this super strong badass. Lifting her 5’9 girlfriend with ease. They are so precious – I’ve been thinking about how they actually meet in the comics. I had an old scenario but that’s null and void seeing how they’re not secret agents anymore. I’m thinking it’s after Del opens the bar and Zen comes in looking for a job. Del at the time is not being completely honest with herself and proceeds to be super awkward around Zen while she tries to get a handle on how she feels. Cause let’s face it, Zen is a freakin Goddess – long wavy hair, plump lips, thick runners thighs. Zen obviously sees Del’s confusion and makes the first move… yup she kisses her boss cause Zen don’t give a crap about what might have happened if she read the signals wrong. LOL

Dreamer

Yup, Emil’s secret is out – he likes to be the ‘little spoon’. Sometimes I give him the most precious tendencies. It’s fun. I haven’t draw these two for a long little minute so I thought I’d give them something elaborate. And believe me making a convincing venetian blinds effect is elaborate! I never notice how white Emil actually is until I put him in the color white and they’re nearly the same. I almost put Lily in the lighter colors but then suddenly I wanted her top to be sheer. She sleeps in barely anything while Emil sleeps in long sleeves – I think I’ve mentioned before that his powers make him sensitive to the cold – especially while he’s sleeping. And Lily is like a little space heater on his back so he’s nice and cozy here.

I kept laughing while drawing this because I was doing the remaster of the page where they get in a fight in issue #5 and the contrast to how they end up is funny to me. Sometime after the end of issue #6 Lily actually starts spending the night with Emil as much as she can just to be away from the Agency building. She stays there so much that Dominic mentions it in issue #7 before teasing his little brother about her ‘deflowering’ him. I’ve given the subject so much thought that I am now planning on making a separate 18+ mini side issue of when they actually do – I’m thinking it’ll only be about ten pages long unless I feature everyones sex-capades but like I said it’s still in the planning phase.

Right Back Here in My Arms

I traveled back in time while making this. I thought I was going crazy cause I legit forgot that DLS ended tonight so imagine my surprise when I look up and see it’s still 2am an hour later. If you follow me on instagram (same name) you got a preview of this sketch a few days ago. I was at my temp job mon-wed so I got to sketch a few things including this and a rare pic of John and Elle that I want to finish as well. The comic went on publishing hiatus right when these two got together and I know a lot of people were looking forward to EmilxKiddo kissy fun time so I try to draw my power couple as often as I can. Plus their hair is aweseomely fun to draw and detail AND Emil blushing is the best cause his ears flush too 🙂

Power Couple

This was originally going to be a pic of her protecting him. My process on Vine you can sort of see where Emil was going to be behind her at first. But it turned into this which is cuter. I was also going to call it ‘The Green Team’

Haven’t drawn these two together in a while and I didn’t want the regular kissy pic I do of my couples. This might be good enough for a postcard print. Buy Issue #1
