Twin Tuesday
It’s been a while since I’ve done one and I missed it by a couple hours but it’s still Tuesday on the west coast so yeah! It was mentioned that it’s been a while since I’ve drawn the boys but I don’t think this is the picture they had in mind for Hunter and Erol Sorry, I couldn’t resist. Especially when I have twin nephews who are perfect references for little ‘Huney’ and ‘Rolly’. I’d say they’re nearly a year in this – sitting up on their own, just a few teeth, aware of each other. Babies are hard to draw mainly because their proportions aren’t proportionate. Main thing that threw me off was arm length – babies are stubby and their heads are so big compared to the rest of their body. But oh God they’re so freakin CUTE!!
My nephew Maddox is so adorably bashful that all I have to do is look at him and he giggles. And Mason thinks ‘this little piggy’ is the best interactive literature EVER!
Can anyone guess which one is which?

Every tuesday or so I’m going to post something about the Breland twins. Today’s post: Erol is older than Hunter by about a minute and a half. Making Hunter the baby of the family

Oh my God are things actually civil between Kiddo and Emil now? When did that happen!? I’d say around page 14 of this issue. She understands why he jumped at the chance to save Dominic and gave them up. A lot of people might think she’s stupid for forgiving him but I think it shows a level of maturity beyond her years. It’s petty to hold grudges especially when you don’t know the whole story. And it was an important lesson about the world they live in. Next issue she learns the truth about Alpha and I promise it’s not going to be at all what is expected.
This isn’t the last page BTW – the FINALE OF ISSUE #5 IS NEXT WEEK!!!

Oh shit – she just pushed Hunter’s berserk button. Do not and I mean do NOT talk badly about his mother. Being the baby of the family he was a total momma’s boy. Also they’re all still torn up about their parents death – I wanted to show that they still feel the pain of it.
Speaking of feelings… my heart isn’t strong enough for the last part of this page. At first I felt a little bad that he screamed at Katherine that way – after all Hunter loves women. I mean he really really loves women – all women, doesn’t matter how they look or what age they are he loves women… well except Cynthia but we all know why he hates her. So not only did he snap over what she said about his mother but he’s angry at himself for screaming at a woman. It’s just not him. Poor baby – he was so optimistic about returning to school but he ends up miserable before the first bell. Also my feels for the twins… my heart – I love how they get strength from each other. Erol is clueless when it comes to dealing with women but he’s able to sense his brother is in pain and needs him.
Disregard the fact that they’re hugging in a bathroom – it couldn’t be helped. It was the only place Hunter could get his tears out without anyone seeing. I can’t believe I’m down to the final five pages of this issue already – feels like it just started.

By far my favorite page of this issue. Not only did it come out great but ZEN FINALLY USES HER POWERS!!! and she just pretty much told Sonya’s mother that she can GTFO. On one hand they’re right, Sonya’s old enough to take care of herself but on the other hand how are you gonna tell someone they can’t take their child somewhere. Either way, things are about to pop off… after three lead in pages

Poor Erol. That’s the draw back of his and Hunter’s powers – if they don’t see the attack coming they get hurt. Just in case anyone was wondering that’s how they’re mother was able to get shot – they have to concentrate to be invulnerable and pretty much anything can break their concentration. Unfortunately without his powers Erol has a bit of a glass jaw.
Sonya’s mother is the opposite of a hype crew ^^;
